While the Russian winter requires heavy dresses with materials such as fur or woolen clothes, this dress shows how light dresses were made for the summer season. The lady in this plate wears the Sarafan dress which features beautiful lines and galloon designs. She is wearing an elegant Kokoshnik on her head.
