These illustrations by Italian botanist Giorgio Gallesio are featured in rare 19th-century texts and can be found in some of the world's most prestigious museums. Gallesio's fruit garden laid the groundwork for the study of pomology, and he would later be quoted by Charles Darwin. His historic works have been carefully restored by our expert conservators, bringing their genuine beauty back to true form.
