Claim Stake Casino in Sparks, Nevada

by John Margolies

This fine art print taken through the eyes of the famous architectural photographer John Margolies highlights one of the most well-known structures along the highways of America: the Claim Stake Casino in Sparks, Nevada. With its larger than life prospector sitting at the top of the rustic facade signage, the Claim Stake symbolizes the fun-loving, positive outlook of roadside Americana.

John Margolies has traveled around the country taking photos of America’s vanishing commercial architecture through the years, preserving the memories of neon signs, giant statues and regional mid-century architecture before they disappeared into oblivion. This print is a high quality photograph printed on the finest archival quality paper.
