Fallsview Indoor Tennis in Ellenville, New York

by John Margolies

Captured in this stunning, one-of-a-kind photograph is the unique architectural beauty of Borscht Belt buildings as seen through the eye of noted Americana photographer John Margolies. The shingled sloping roof and mid-century modern façade of the Fallsview Indoor Tennis in Ellenville, New York make this photograph a prime example of Margolies’ characteristic aesthetic of bright blue skies, bold geometry, and classic leisure architecture.

Set against the beautiful scenery of the Catskill Mountains, this photograph provides an insight into one of the best parts of resort life in the 20th century. An incredible addition to any collection of American architecture, Upstate New York, or sports/leisure photography art!
