Lutianus Lutianus - The Lutian

by Marcus Elieser Bloch

Add some elegance from the seas of yore to your interior décor with this beautiful restoration of the fine art print featuring the Lutianus Lutianus (or, simply, the Lutian snapper), originally sketched back in the late eighteenth century by Marcus Elieser Bloch, an influential German naturalist, as part of the important work he did on the study of fish.

This artwork restoration has preserved the multi-lingual labels found in the historic print (Der Lutian / Le Lutian / The Lutian) and has emphasized the minute details of the scales and the amber-colored eye.
