This photograph taken at the seaside and depicting the famous boardwalk of Atlantic City is an old image taken by the photographer John Margolies that gives a glimpse of Atlantic City’s glorious past through its sun-baked, vibrant colors. This picture shows the famous Fralinger’s Original Salt Water Taffy store located adjacent to the bright green Spanish tiled wall having the “Land of Oz” arcade.

Recognized for his photographic work on America's roadside vernacular and resort architecture, John Margolies’ photographs beautifully showcase the colors, which have been used in mid-century Atlantic City—the turquoise green color, the Spanish red tiles, the yellow trim and blue railings.
