Egyptian Theatre in Delta, Colorado

by John Margolies

Take a walk down memory lane with this stunning art print that depicts the iconic Egyptian Theatre in Delta, Colorado. Captured by John Margolies, one of the greatest architectural critics and photographers of all time, this piece of artwork is the epitome of the colorful and dramatic designs that were once the hallmark of American roadside architecture.

During the last decades of the 20th century, John Margolies devoted himself to photographing America’s rapidly disappearing “novelty architecture.” His unmistakable photographic style, known for its high contrast colors, sharp compositions, and clear blue skies, transforms an unusual movie theater into beautiful art. The distinctive Egyptian Revival façade of the Delta theater is a beautiful and memorable centerpiece for any room.
