Gunpoint is a 1966 American Western film directed by Earl Bellamy and starring Audie Murphy. It was Murphy's final film for Universal Pictures. Near the Wild West town of Lodgepole, Sheriff Chad Lucas (Audie Murphy) gets shot during a train robbery -- not by the robbers, but by his jealous deputy, Cap. Hold (Denver Pyle), who believes he should be sheriff.
