A classic example of 18th century engraving is "The Habit of an Arabian Virgin" that represents a detailed look at the clothing styles of Arabia as presented in Thomas Jefferys’ 1700s series of ethnographic prints. This fine engraving, showing the beautiful attire of a young Arabian girl, is one of the few historic insights into the dress culture of Arab youth that prevailed in the age of Enlightenment.
