Hunt's Golf and Theater in Wildwood, New Jersey

by John Margolies

Step back to the good old days of the American boardwalk. This amazing picture was taken during the summer of 1978 and depicts a perfect snapshot of mid-century coastal nostalgia. The picture includes the unique "Hunt's Pier / Skyline Golf" tower in Wildwood, New Jersey, which is characteristic of all Margolies' photographs.

To make this amazing vintage picture even more interesting, there is an advertisement for the summertime film "Jaws 2" on the old-fashioned theater marquee. The picture itself is made in a neat and stylish manner with clear lines, vernacular architecture, and a sunny calm environment without people. This print will fit every space and will add coastal-cool style to it.
